I have spent countless hours, over the years, going through old photographs.  I am grateful to my parents for making sure the entire beginning of my life was documented through thousands of images.  In the early 90’s when I was around 10 years old, the most popular type of family photo was a studio portrait.  In that pile of family photos, we have hundreds of studio portraits.  While I am very fond of those studio portraits that serve as memories of how big I could get my hair and the amazing satin dresses my mother used to put me in, those posed portraits didn’t capture the true essence of who we were.  My favorite images in that box are the images that tell the story of my amazing childhood.

I am drawn most to the images that prove to my 5-year-old daughter I was just as silly as she is.  The images of my parents that I cherish the most are the ones that literally allow you to feel their souls.  When my parents are gone, those images are the ones I will hold when I need to feel their presence.  THIS is what I want for you and your family.  A family photo session with me is all about authenticity and connection; capturing Real LIFE Moments!

I want the day of our session to be more than a documentation of the fact that you are a family.  I want our time together during your photo session to be a part of the memories you talk about.  When you hold the images, and I mean truly hold them in your hands, in your heart, I want you to feel them tug at your heartstrings as all the emotions from that day come flooding into your Memory!

Other things may change us, but we start and end with the family.– Anthony Brandt

“Danielle made my girls feel alive and beautiful from the inside and out. Her eye on background and lighting to enhance their photo looks was beyond my expectations. She is kind and her warm personality makes her a perfect fit for anyone needing a photographer. She has a beast of an eye and a heart of a innocent child.”
